1. Quotes and Estimates

Price Variations: The final price may vary due to unforeseen complications, changes in the scope of work, or fluctuations in part costs.
Shipping & Freight: All quoted prices exclude shipping or emergency freight charges for parts unless otherwise specified. These will be added to the final invoice where applicable.
2. Mobile Service and Travel Fees
Travel Charges: As a mobile service, a travel fee may apply to attend your location. This fee will be communicated at the time of booking.
Site Access: The customer must provide a safe and legal working environment for our technicians. If a job cannot be completed due to unsafe conditions or lack of access, a call-out fee will still apply.
3. Customer-Supplied Parts
Colins HD Auto Electrical strongly recommends using parts sourced by our technicians to ensure quality and compatibility. If you choose to supply your own parts, the following applies:
No Liability: Colins HD Auto Electrical is not responsible for the functionality, fitment, or longevity of customer-supplied parts.
Labor Charges: If a customer-supplied part is found to be faulty, incorrect, or fails after installation, the customer is still liable for the full labor cost spent on the installation and diagnostic time.
Re-work Fees: Any additional time required to remove a faulty customer-supplied part and install a replacement will be charged at our standard hourly rate.
4. Return of Parts
Special Orders: Parts specifically ordered for your vehicle (Special Orders) are generally non-returnable unless faulty.
Restocking Fees: Returns on standard stocked items may be subject to a restocking fee (typically 15-20%) charged by our suppliers, which will be passed on to the customer.
Electrical Components: Please note that most electrical components (e.g., ECUs, sensors) cannot be returned once they have been fitted or the packaging has been opened.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless prior credit arrangements have been made.
